Pitch your game idea --- REALLY!

David Perry and Jamil Moledina have obviously known each other a long time, judging by David's inside scoop on Jamil's Zelda costume. (Tune in, and you'll hear for yourself.) Aside from the costume contest, hey also fill in some details about GDC's Game Career Seminar and the "Pitch Your Game Idea" at E for All.

That is simply amazing! If I can work out the logistical errors then I will be going to this event and this podcast does nothing but strengthen my will to go. I've got several ideas and after listening to this I have decided on one particular idea to refine...well I've actually got two I'm deciding on but one of them would take a lot longer then 30 seconds...

I wonder...are they looking more for new character designs and such or new games in existing franchises? By the comment about "The next Halo" I'm gonna assume the latter is just as welcome...

I think by "the next halo" they meant the next multi-billion dollar franchise. I wouldn't assume that additions to existing franchises would be logical for a game suggestion as there would be a lot of hoops to jump through unless the dev team absolutely loved your idea. But I guess it's possible.

This is a great way to strengthen interest, and an overall great idea.

Hm, that's entirely possible...that makes things a little more complicated however...
