Cooking Guide: Can't Decide What to Eat? | DS
Cooking Guide turns your Nintendo DS into an interactive cookbook, complete with recipes and video demos.
Chrono Trigger | DS
If you've long since wished you could get your hands on this SNES classic, you're in luck! Chrono Trigger is making its way to the Nintendo DS, this holiday season, and will take full advantage of the DS touch screen. Expect to see everything that made you fall in love with the original, with the addition of all-new dungeons and an arena mode.
Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts | XBOX360
Rare brings back the bear and the bird in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. But this game is different from its platform-jumping, Mario-styled predecessors. In Nuts & Bolts, building crazy vehicles is the central premise. You'll customize a variety of helicopters, boats, plans, and cars from a huge variety of custom parts, then compete in a series of challenges to test your mettle. You can save custom vehicles as blueprints and share them with your friends online. Multiplayer and online cooperative play is also confirmed. Nuts & Bolts makes a big change from prior Banjo-Kazooie games, but this shift might just pay off.
StarCraft II | PC
Featuring a unique single-player campaign that picks up where StarCraft: Brood War left off, StarCraft II will present a cast of new heroes and familiar faces in an edgy sci-fi story filled with adventure and intrigue. In addition, Blizzard will again offer unparalleled online play through Battle.net, the company's world-renowned gaming service, with several enhancements and new features to make StarCraft II the ultimate competitive real-time strategy game.
Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Plus | PSP
Unlike the previous two installment of the Metal Gear franchise on the PSP, Portable Ops us a true stealth-action game that retains a lot of the beloved gameplay of the console versions. The main exception is how, instead of going solo, you'll recruit teams of able soldiers who will aid you on your missions. You play as Naked Snake, six years after the events of Snake Eater.
Persona 4 | PS2
Atlus's famed series, Shin Megami Tensai: Persona is back for its fourth installment! Once again, you take on the role of a high school student by day, battling demonic Shadows after the sun sets! It will continue much of the same features of its predecessor, such as dungeon crawling, yet tweaks the stats and features that made dungeon crawling a chore in Persona 3.
Golden Axe: Beast Rider | XBOX360
Sega's classic arcade beat-em-up, Golden Axe, is going next-gen. As the game's title implies, this game is all about the beasts. Heads will roll as you play as Tyris Flare and sever head and limb. Revenge runs deep and Death Adder has little hope against this Beast Rider.
Afro Samurai | XBOX360
Feel the beat as everyone's favorite bandana sporting schizophrenic samurai makes his video game debut! Afro Samurai is an upcoming video game for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 to be released in Fall 2008, based on the popular manga and anime series of the same name. As with the anime series, the title character is voiced by Samuel L. Jackson and features a cel-shaded animation style. Though it is a hack and slash game, the "fighting is a bit more strategic" and the player will be able to block and use combos.
