FaceBreaker trailer confirms September 5 release

A gameplay trailer published this week confirms a September 5 release date for the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii arcade boxing game made by EA.

Though previously announced for a September launch, the new FaceBreaker trailer specifies a Friday, September 5 release day. What's more, the trailer shows actual gameplay footage, as opposed to the highly stylized pre-rendered scenes featured in most promotional trailers.

FaceBreaker will be the first of several arcade sports games to be released under the newly announced Freestyle label, which aims to appeal to the growing number of Wii owners and casual gamers. The game will release for Wii, Xbox 360, and PS3, with the Wii version seemingly being treated as the flagship edition.
