SOCOM: Confrontation coming Oct. 14 to PS3

Sony today unveiled three ways to get your SOCOM fix this fall; $60 for a retail disc with headset, $40 for disc only, or $40 as a download from the PS3 store.

According to the official SOCOM website, PS3 owners will be able to purchase Confrontation starting October 14th by one of three ways:

Bundle Version ($59.99)
Includes SOCOM Confrontation, a newly designed Bluetooth Headset for the PS3 system and exclusive Behind the Scenes videos.

Stand Alone Version ($39.99)
For all of the people who want SOCOM: Confrontation on a disc. Does not include the headset or the Behind the Scenes videos.

Download Version ($39.99)
SOCOM Confrontation downloadable from the PSN without ever leaving your couch. Does not include the headset or the Behind the Scenes videos.

Confrontation is the online-only sequel to SOCOM 3: U.S. Navy SEALs for PlayStation 2. The game features seven maps for up to 32 players at a time.
